Make Money While You learn
There are a lot of courses that try and teach you how to become a Real Estate Investor with just one course. Some are classroom-based and some are self-study. I even took one course that was distance learning. Some companies “sell” you one course and then try and sell you a bunch of other courses before you need them. My approach is that you need enough education to get started.
Then you need to apply that knowledge and learn more from your experiences. You will make some money from what you have already learned.
Then, when you are ready, you can get more education. I am constantly learning and educating myself. In fact, the more deals I do, the more I learn.
Real Estate Investing is not a get rich quick scheme. It’s a slow and steady get rich process. Sure, you may stumble onto a couple of deals that make you an amazing amount of money. I have had a few of those. But most of my investments are the result of consistently applying what I learned and learning more as I go.
People ask me, how much education will they need? How much time will it take to learn to become a Real Estate Investor? First of all, ask yourself how much time did it take to learn your current profession? I spent 4 years on my university degree and it has provided for me for many years. I have also spent about $250K on my own Real Estate Investing education. I have read over 500 books and attended many meetings, seminars, etc. I have also found that the more I learn the more deals I can make and the more money I make.
The courses and books that I offer are designed to provide you with the information you need to get started. It gives you a good foundation.
