Habits and Beliefs are Keys to Success

Habits and beliefs may be stopping you from being successful.

When you were growing up you were told to go to school, get a good education, get a good job and start a family. This was the “normal” thing to do. You were told this by the people around you and you were taught to believe it.

Growing up, you had a lot of people around you, influencing you, whether you knew it or not. People told you “money doesn’t grow on trees”, “money is the root of all evil”, “rich people aren’t happy”, etc. You were taught to  believe this as well.

People also influenced you indirectly through their own habits. Did you grow up in a family that was always struggling financially? Were bills always paid late? Did your family have any savings? Were you taught to save for what you wanted, or did you go and buy it when you wanted it and pay for it later … much later.

How you are acting and behaving now is the result of years and years of conditioned behavior.

Your habits and beliefs are what control your current behavior

No wonder you are having a hard time trying to get started in Real Estate Investing.

Real Estate Investing, as a career, is very different than what you have been taught. It isn’t a regular 9:00 – 5:00 job and it doesn’t provide a fixed income. You will have to develop some strong habits and beliefs which will change how you act and react to situations.

You have to believe that you can be a successful Real Estate Investor.

Why not? Many people have that belief. People just like you and me. You have to believe that making money as a Real Estate Investor is OK. Sure it’s not 9:00 – 5:00. Don’t feel guilty. You have to believe that making a lot of money is good. Think of all the benefits it can bring. You can spend more time with your family, travel more, help other people that need it and lots more.

Real estate Investing is easy. Making a habit of believing you can will take some work.
